Mike Boyle
Partner & Negotiation Consultant
Mike Boyle is a Partner and Sr. Consultant with Wilson Negotiation Group, specializing in helping CPG suppliers navigate complex retail negotiations. Mike has over 15 years of dedicated Supplier/Retailer expertise in negotiation strategy, training, and advisory services, all of which is based on real life experiences at the negotiation table. Mike’s approach reflects the Wilson Negotiation Group’s philosophy: delivering insights to suppliers that can only come from inside the mind of the merchant. Unlike other negotiation consultants, Mike’s real life employment with a major retailer and a supplier positions him as an expert in his field.
Before joining Wilson, Mike spent 3 years at Walmart, where he trained and advised merchant teams across Walmart. While at Walmart, Mike advised associates in Merchandising, Merch Operations, Procurement, Marketing and Energy. Mike played a key role in elevating negotiation capabilities across the enterprise, generating close to $600 million in documented value and cost savings through training, consulting, and direct deal support.
Prior to Walmart, Mike served as Negotiation Delivery Consultant with The Gap Partnership, advising clients to enhance commercial capability and drive measurable financial outcomes. Earlier in his career, he held a Sales and Business Development role at NRG, building foundational expertise in relationship management, strategic selling, and commercial execution.
Mike is originally from Philadelphia, PA, and earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. He is passionate about helping organizations make thoughtful, more strategic deals through structured negotiation, capability building, and collaborative value creation.
